ARTIN FLOWERS is a one-of-a-kind jacket, hand-printed and naturally dyed by artist Marjut Uotila using real plants.

This unique piece is printed with cow parsley, dyer’s chamomile and coreopsis flowers, resulting in a very delicate and down-to-earth pattern.

In the botanical printing process, the fabric—here, repurposed 100% cotton—is first pre-treated to ensure colourfast results. Flower petals and leaves (fresh or pressed) are meticulously arranged on the fabric, which is then tightly rolled and steamed. During this process, the natural pigments from the plants transfer onto the fibres, creating a truly unique and unrepeatable design.

ARTIN FLOWERS LONG is an easy-going, lightweight, kimono styled long jacket with patch pockets and a belt. It is designed with zero-waste pattern.

There is only one piece and its measurements are as follows:

• A, ½ chest: 72 cm

• B, sleeve width: 60 cm

• C, back length: 97 cm

• D, sleeve length: 64 cm

The jacket is hand made in Lahti, Finland as all Dusty’s garments. Material is lightweight, crisp 100% cotton, made in Italy.

The natural dyes and prints are colourfast and washable. We recommend hand washing or using a gentle machine cycle in 30°C water, drying on a hanger, and ironing or steaming at cotton temperature if needed. Please note that prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the colours and prints to fade over time.
